Become a Volunteer
There are a variety of ways for volunteers to assist our patients and their families, including: providing in-home patient/family support; serving on the committee for our annual gala; becoming a Patient Family Advisory Council Member (PFAC); and helping with administrative support. Become a Patient Family Advisory Council Member
Volunteers on the Duke Hospice Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) provide insight on hospice care from the perspective of patients, patient families, and hospice volunteers. PFAC volunteers provide direct and timely input to Duke Hospice leaders on a broad range of initiatives and practices, with the goal of delivering the best services possible to patients, their families, and the community.
