Dale Horton has worked at Duke HomeCare & Hospice since 2009. As a program specialist for the development office, Dale’s duties include fundraising, organizing special events and handling special projects. She is also responsible for reconciling and tracking all gifts and contributions with alumni and gift records with our finance department. A native of Apex, she still lives there, with her Pomeranian, Panda. She has two adult children and a granddaughter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and reading. 

Working at Duke HomeCare & Hospice has been the most rewarding and fulfilling position of my career. The care provided to the patients and families by our staff reminds me every day how blessed we are to have Duke HomeCare & Hospice.
