Dr. David Fisher is board certified in family medicine, geriatrics, and hospice/palliative medicine. He trained at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and spent the past 17 years of his career delivering home-based primary care and hospice care to medically complex and vulnerable patients, first in his hometown of Chicago with Advocate Medical Group, and most recently in Raleigh-Durham with Doctors Making Housecalls.

 I believe in the vital importance of safely delivering patient care where the patient lives. Community-based care offers valuable benefits to patients with chronic disease and advanced illness, in quality of care, convenience, connection, and comfort. Duke Home Care and Hospice is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of the community and this medically vulnerable population.
